5:41pm: Is anyone writing XF slash?
I find myself craving XF slash lately. Specifically, Skinner slash. Skinner/Doggett, Skinner/Mulder, Skinner/Krycek...

It's frustrating. I've browsed Crack_Van, and all I seem to find there is Mulder/Scully *gag*.

So. Where's all the new XF slash being posted??

8:54pm: I finished a story!!
I finally got around to finishing that "the next morning" piece that comes right after Recovery.

Ezra, Vin, Chris and Buck make the trip up the mountain...

Seems the Internet Archive got one of those National Security Letters demanding records about one of their users. They fought back and won!

3:40pm: No more "New Amsterdam" for me...

No more "New Amsterdam" for me. Last night's ep just cemented for me what I'm not liking about the show. The guy is a bastard. A total jerk in his past and not much better in the present.

Now, explain why that show gets more eps, and "Canterbury's Law" shown in the hour before it only got two, and it was pretty decent??

9:03pm: Insane Journal
I now have an Insane Journal.  Same name as here -- adonnchaid.

Now all I have to do is remember to use all my journals.  For somebody who initially resisted moving to journals, I seem to have gotten over that.  I have my LJ, this one, the new IJ, and I'm also over on Vox, where I always forget to go look :)

8:18am: New Story: Second Chances
Well, the story I was working on during NaNoWriMo is done! And edited! And posted!

It's a gritty-realistic take on how the Mag7 ATF team might have formed. It has a Chris who has to face the consequences of drowning his grief in alcohol, and Buck who helps him through it.

A few liberties were taken with Mog's original AU, and a few changes made in the men's backstories. Nothing unrecognizable, I don't think, though...

5:46pm: Vancouver vacation!
I did it. Booked the hotel and flights for HLWW8-Vancouver in October. I'm going up a few days before the con to do my tourist thing, and I'm really looking forward to it. Haven't been to Vancouver in *years*
