status report: still alive
Also, now moved into my new apartment and sorting out all the residency issues, as well as starting work at the university. It's a variable headache; some parts were easily taken care of, some took some time to get sorted out but went smoothly, and others still need to be resolved.

Not-all-that-funny-anecdote: Less than half an hour after getting auto insurance, I got rear-ended while stopped and waiting for right-of-way. It was a minor accident, with a bit of paint transfer on the bumper and a headache that went away after some ibuprofen, so I didn't swap insurance info with the other driver. I did get him to guide me to the DMV (which was where I was headed at the time), even though I ended up having to go to the other DMV.

BTW, if anyone in the Binghamton area needs a ride, I has a car with room for four. And if anyone knows the way around downtown Binghamton, can I get a guide?

In completely unrelated news, I got the Sims 2 and have started seriously following a family (Touya, Yukito, and Nakuru, for anyone interested). I had a bit of an issue where Touya and Nakuru both loved Yukito and he couldn't flirt with one without the other immediately hating both, but that was solved by a mod that turns off jealousy. Can anyone say OT3?

	Unfortunately I have no idea how Binghamton works. Whenever I go out my grandmother drives me around, and it's usually to a church for a concert or to the Post Office for a passport. That sounds like a perfect OT3 to me! (Reply to this)(Thread)

	There's a lot of them. The one I picked not only turns off jealousy, but starts/ends relationships, increases health, increases lifespan, and makes Julienne fries. I dunno, this mod might be a bit complicated in real life, because it only works for one lot. You might have no jealousy issues at home, but going out on a date with the two and it's back on the table. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	You can choose to make or end a mutual crush/love/chemistry between two sims. I haven't tried it yet; all I've done is turn off jealousy in the Tsukishiro household. There are mods that turn off jealousy globally, but they tend to conflict with each other. I chose just this one because it seemed to have the most other options. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
