so down

I would've preferred it if they just killed Donna instead of that. We spent more than a season watching her develop and grow into someone that almost everyone loved... and then she got snapped back to the pre-Doctor Donna who most people couldn't stand.

I'm actually starting to cry thinking about it and writing it here. I want someone to talk to about it.

... aaargh, YES. I don't care about the "who most people couldn't stand" part, honestly, but that was so unfair to her character. D: Couldn't they make her leave some other way? Any other way?

I foresee fix-it fic in my near future. Probably with Yuuko, because, well. Insta-plot device and all that.

People have been pointing out that there are a lot of ways for Moffat to start to undo it; Donna's ring flashed at the end after being dull all episode, the Torchwood people haven't been told and could easily spill the beans, etc. It doesn't make what was done to her any less horrible, but at least it's not as permanent as it seemed at first.
