Everyone remember the Cook's Source fiasco? Well, turns out that the magazine was local! Not too fond of the article, though, since it's fishing for sympathy for her. But still! Local! And not unfunny!

That article is a total snow job, wow.

Feel the pain of Judith Griggs, small businesswoman and entrepreneur. What more do you WANT from her :( ?

Some honesty? Journalistic integrity?

I knew where she was coming from by her response to Gaudio. Patronizing, condescending and clearly coming from the centre of the universe, her own bad self.

Somewhere in the kabillion responses to Gaudio's blog post is a break-down of uncredited takes by Cooks Source. Recipes off major web sites like FoodNetwork and Martha Stewart Living. No credit given. Presumably no rewriting necessary. Articles from everywhere. No credit given. I looked.

Gaudio posted because after a long time she finally got a response from Griggs. That response.

The article is b.s. The site was not hacked, it got fuckton of responses. People liked the FB page so they could comment. Griggs posted how pleased she was by all the likes, until the deluge hit her advertisers. That's why some called for notification of advertisers, because Griggs seemed to still think she was somehow ahead of the game.

My sympathy for her does not exist.
