Alexandra meets (NPC) John Simm and more than one first happens between them (players only)
(backdated to the filming of the last three episodes of Doctor Who's third season, in 2007)
John looks around the table at the faces he'll be working with. He still finds it hard to believe that he is here on the Doctor Who set, playing the Doctor's greatest enemy..or one of them at least..The Master. His eyes fall on a young blonde headed woman and he finds he can't look away, but forces himself to as he doesn't want to be caught staring. He turns his attention to the director.
Looking up, Alexandra smiles. She's been reading over her script and she's excited to be playing a part in this show. She's loved Doctor Who ever since she can remember, and David has been very nice the couple of times they've met. She knows the part she's going to play, the young woman under the spell of the bad guy, and she's wanting to make it, at least within the show, a little bit more than just another damsel in distress. She has already talked to Russell about making her more into the planning, at least in her performance, and as that's in part how it's been written, she's glad to know she's understood her character. And she knows who's going to be playing her character's husband. John Simm, who she still finds it hard not to think of first as Sam Tyler.
