So as it turns out there was a scoring error and I did NOT win the Metro State fiction contest.
However, I took second (by a hair's breadth) and once the scoring error was rectified it turns out I got third place on non-fiction as well. Whee! I'm quite happy with that, as it's more of a display of versatility and they apparently felt my non-fiction entry wasn't too Flannery O'Connor.
Also because I love my car Lavyrlle (the other day I... um... I put on makeup just to look presentable for it) I made a wishlist for it. It has not been properly geeked up and looks like someone with taste and class drives it, and I need y'all's help in making it look like I drive it instead.
