2:34p - Please, no furbashing. (The fur's been through quite enough already.)
It's like we say in the Honors Lounge:

If they're dead, they can't say neigh.

A number of things strike me as wrong about this situation.

1. The defense quoted The Princess Bride in an attempt to bolster their argument. Miracle Max is not a legal authority; after all, he was fired by Florin's government entity.
2. The phrase "reasonable people" appears in the document. Legalese it might be, but reasonable people also do not consider the Outdoor Network erotic.
3. How on earth did they discover that this guy likes to cuddles deer carcasses? Was he pulled over for speeding, and happened to mention that he only thought Bambi's mom was hot after she was shot by the hunters?
4. I find it wrong that I am not surprised that he lives in Wisconsin. Seriously, you guys really need to stop raising people who have an all-too-thin barrier between sex and meat. Any time you make Colorado look weird, you need to start with the "the pet cemetery ain't for fuckin'" PSAs.

ETA: A partial "how I met your mother" story is here. Dude, roadside ditches are no place to meet human mates.

Oh, and you can sign a petition to free the guy and support toaster fondling. Or something. And someone on VeganPorn (O_O) heard that apparently the whole thing came to light when cops called to his house questioned why he had blood and deer hair on him, and he admitted to it after a while. I'd like to know what brought the cops there in the first place. And this has got to be the silliest damn thing PETA's ever stuck its nose into. I wonder why they thought the court needed to be persuaded via press release that fucking a dead deer is a bad thing. It may be a gray area of the law, but it's not like the prosecutor's all, "Heh, it's okay, I once got my jollies at the taxidermy when I was your age, you're free to go."
