Hoo and Ray!


Thanks to the kindness of various strangers, friends, and acquaintances, I'm up and running with Semagic. Now all I have to do is remember to use it, instead of posting the way I'm accustomed to.

Today's tally: One ridiculously long and complicated "skills and personality assessment" test full of algebra and word problems*, one phone interview, one call scheduling an interview with me for next Tuesday, and one dentist's appointment.

Busy day, considering it's only 10:00.

Naturally, since I have no time to fritter away on writing journal entries, I feel amazingly chatty.

Maybe I'll post again later.

In the meantime, send my dental-phobic self good wishes that today's appointment really will just be a series of x-rays and some chat about all the things my dentist would like me to let him do, the way I expect it will be.

* I meant to do this last night, when they emailed me the link, but I forgot and did it this morning. I sent the recruiter a note apologizing and telling her I'd finished it this morning and she sent back a note that said, "HI" and nothing else.

What's up with that?
