: Steamchan done.
I seriously never thought I'd get this far in working on the damn thing. Just for the historical record, I went through an OS re-install, six httpd changeovers, and countless numbers of hours going "ARGH WHY THIS NO WORK."
I'm actually proud of the end-result with the page. It runs on valid xhtml/css (even if some of the features are slightly outdated at this point. See: frames) it has no javascript, no cookies. It's light, and it's fast, and those are my only requirements in web development. Sure, it's not the prettiest thing, (Actually, I might throw up some gradients for backgrounds in a bit) But I'll take simplicity first, fancy graphics later.
The backend is also simple. Debian, Lighttpd, Mysql. Just the bare minimum to keep things working. (And the only thing that I think is currently not funcitoning properly is mod_compress. The site is tiny enough as is, but I'll see if I can shrink it down even more. My horrid css setup, which makes use of two css files could use some work etc.)
But anyways, I'm done, and I'm proud.
