If you're one of the legions of disenchanted Heroes fans, I have a suggestion that I think will make the show more watchable: simply imagine that the Petrellis are in fact the Bluths. Let's face it, the mother had more than a touch of the Gangys to begin with. And once you start repeating all of Sylar's lines as if he was G(abriel).O.B., you'll find that the show is a lot funnier. |

You know how we get those arguments sometimes about whether we need the NSFW icon rule, given that people really shouldn't be reading FW in the office anyway? Well, this workplace video demonstrates just how uncool some companies are about wanking in the office. |

Doesn't it seem a little rough that F_W got tossed deleted from wikipedia, while an important subject like queefing still has its own page?
Hey, there is a very good reason why I discovered this. Don't judge me. |

p.s. Next time, why not just mark your territory with a good old fashioned spray of urine, like wolves normally do? |

The great thing about the intarweb is that if you don't know how it works, it's someone else's fault. See the wildly incoherent three paragraph comment about halfway down the page. |

First I read on the normally staid Der Spiegel website that the number of tv presenters in Germany from ethnic backgrounds can "be counted on the fingers of one mutilated hand". This was in English, so no translation issues as far as I can see. It's true too.
Then I notice on the back cover of my Blade DVD that, according to the Sunday Mirror, this film contains "enough blood to refloat the Titanic". Now, I'm not a naval salvage expert or anything (it's more of a hobby), but I still wouldn't have thought this was the right way to go about it. And even if it was, in the best-case scenario, it would seem that you're likely to raise some sort of twisted zombie superliner, and that never ends well. |

Well, I feel better to have gotten that out of my system. otf_wank has been restored, madmouth has been let back in. For now. But I didn't feel it would be right to overrule Sep on the matter of oxydosic, or indeed see any reason to. |

Alice in Wonderland is actually quite a lot better than Harry Potter, and no amount of ad hominem attacks on Lewis Carroll is going to change that. But, there's no shame in that, you know. Alice in Wonderland is better than a hell of a lot of other books. It doesn't mean that Harry Potter isn't perfectly adequate typing in its own right. |

Some historians are upset that Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette fails to accurately depict historical reality. Which would be fair enough if it was an educational holodeck program, rather than, you know, a movie. Plus they really need to find a better way to make their point than by complaining about Kirsten Dunst "lying naked on a chaise longue." |

Why have I never heard of this show Invasion? I mean, I love American Gothic, so I thought I would have heard about it just on the basis of it being a Shaun Cassidy creation, but no, nothing. Is it just because it doesn't have wanky fans? Or does it have no fans at all? |

I'm disappointed to be unable to prove that the Jessy Schram who played Hannah in the last episode of Veronica Mars is not the younger sister of Bitty Schramm, who plays Sharona in Monk. I liked the idea of her being the Itty Bitty Schramm. |

| | In the Bath - Lemon Jelly | ] | You know how sometimes you watch a couple of B movies on tv in the middle of the day with Katherine Heigl in them, and then you find yourself thinking "this young lady certainly has impressive acting chops – I wonder what else she's been in?" and you do some looking on the old IMDB and decide to download the first season of Grey's Anatomy and you watch it, and you don't really enjoy it, and the kooky score over someone's bowel exploding just bugs you, as does the protagonist, who always looks like she's just about to cry or pee herself, but you keep watching because every so often Ms Heigl shows up in Hello Kitty underwear, and that makes things alright again for a bit, and before you know it, you've watched the whole first series and you hate yourself for being so shallow, but somehow you have to find season two, just to see if George and his spirochetes can find a way to make it work? |
