I have returned from the wilds of Portland Fashion Week and the Hood River Harvest Fest (yes, in the same weekend) and will fill in the details later. In the meantime might I just say that if you haven't been following the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, go and catch up. The adorable will turn all emotastic parts of your brain to total mush. KITTIES. WEE KITTIES.

So I spent a large part of today uploading some of my more artistic photography. I seem to have a real thing for flowers and doorways. ;) These are all un-photoshopped, because I have just not been that motivated. I like them anyway though.
I have some holiday stuff and product stuff I haven't decided whether to bother putting up yet. What I really want to do now are some fashion shoots/portaits.

I have achieved a regency dress. This, plus the insane amount of hours I've been working, have kept me pretty much silent lately; sorry about that. But the party this dress it to be worn to is Friday, and ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) moonlight69 finished the bodice part before she left, but I am such a total disaster at sewing that the relatively simple task of sewing the skirt pieces together and then attaching it to the bodice was pretty much beyond my ability.
It's like trying to read a book in a language you don't know--technically possible, but it's very slow and frustrating because you have to stop and look up every word. Anyway, I got some help at the fabric store and now it's down to whatever I decide to trim it with. Now I just need my gloves to show up tomorrow and I'll be all set!
I've been working a lot--I went in on Saturday to help with a computer thing we were backed up on, and now I'll have part of Friday off. Since the go-live was such a disaster, though, they gave everyone in our building ten minute massages today, so that was nice and very much needed.
Still in limbo on a lot of stuff, though I've had two job rejections in the past two days, so, well, yay. :p I feel like there's something important I'm forgetting, but can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

Still alive. Sorry have been quiet--there will be ren faire pictures soon, but have been extremely occupied with RL things that have arisen--not bad, in fact potentially quite good, but stressful all the same. Have missed out on a good deal I am sure, but bear with me. ♥

Once again: ashkitty on greatestjournal and journalfen, pobhwyl on insanejournal. Am not currently actually leaving anywhere at the moment, but well.
Going to the Gig Harbor ren faire this weekend with pyrate_queen, metaphoracle, and some other people who are not on LJ. I will go about friending people back once I return. My parents have dial-up, and we have a busy weekend planned, so I'm not going to hold too high of expectations.
I'm sorry I've been quiet...I've been tired. More later, I promise.
