She finished it! I have been behind times, as usual. It's a very long (95k words) and plotty F/K genderfuck story:

Anima by [info] - personalj_s_cavalcante  (F/K, FRAO - note other warnings)

Also have to thank JS for troubleshooting an issue at the due Slash archive. Posting larger stories should now be possible. :)

Gakked from </b></a>[info]tzikeh and </b></a>[info]amireal:

So much has been posted about LH and her wiki that it's often impossible to find exactly what you're looking for or what you need to back up your personal evidence. In order to collect the maximum number of references and refutations to laura hale with the minimum amount of work, a delicious account called "fanhistoryexpose" has been created. Anyone who cares to can send links to the account to be archived. (You can learn how to send a delicious link here.)

[Basically: if you have a del.icio.us account, click on the "fanhistoryexpose" link and add it to your network. Then you'll have a "for:fanhistoryexpose" link show up at the bottom of the page when you save a link. Alternatively, copy the term  "for:fanhistoryexpose" and paste it as a tag when you post a relevant link to del.icio.us.]

If you care to, delicious-tag any posts you've read/seen with the tag fanhistory:expose, if you have an account at delicious. The more people who do this, the easier it will be to collect the most information.

It would also be useful if people who have posted about LH lj-tag their own posts with fanhistory:expose as well.

Please pass this information along; the more we codify the tags on delicious and lj, the easier it will be to find what we need and to amass proof

If you make a post to an LJ community that has IP tracking turned on, both you and the community owners can see the IPs of the people who comment on your post. This is why I think the LJ comm fanthropology should either not track IPs of members or not allow mostly-crazy to post to their community. She really is not the kind of person who should have access to people's IP numbers.

From LJ's FAQ (emphasis mine):

http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=66&q=IP&lang=

The only people who can see the logged IP numbers are the owners of the journals in which the comments appear (or, if the entry is in a community, the person who posted the entry and the community's maintainers). The owner must be logged in to see the IP numbers, which appear in the header of the comment in question.

If you haven't taken it yet, it would probably be more interesting to you to take the POV poll and then read this post. Or not.

Yes, the long-dreaded POV post is behind the cut )

Pssst. Still working on the POV post. In the meantime, here's a survey (yay!) based on the POV panel at Escapade 08.

Panel description: 61. Point of View: Stop Bashing the "I": It Makes the Contacts Hurt. Description. In free-for-all where I encourage people to bring their biases about point of view. What each POV brings to the writing table, and why not one POV fits all. Once we squabble for a while, I'd like to open up the workshop to an overall participation and discuss whether certain fandoms tend to lend themselves to certain POVs.

Click here to take the iPOV survey

This is a Surveymonkey survey, so while you are in the survey you can go back and edit your responses. However, once you have finished the survey you will not be able to go back and edit.

So I got a package from imkalena this week. I had no idea what she was sending me but usually it's very fun stuff like maple cream cookies so I tore into it with gusto. OMG! It was even BETTER! I am so amused and ecstatic!
