| Bio: | I'm a 50-something currently unemployed ex-database administrator who would prefer to be a proof-reader (being a linguist by training). I read voraciously, make embroidered (tent-stitch) keyrings, cross-stitch bookmarks and pictures, and knit socks, jumpers and other things - I'm currently in the process of knitting lots and lots of Potterverse dolls in various sizes! So far the count is theveral Theven-Inch Theveruth Thnapeth (thorry, I have a lithp), one 7" Lucius Malfoy, two 4" Dracos, a 4" Trio, 4" Bill, Ron, Remus, and Lucius, theveral more mini-Thnapes, four 7" Remuses(eseses) and a set of 7" Harry, Ron and Hermione, and many, many more (including, alas, Gilderoy Lockhart). I must be mad. Mad, I tell you!. See the website to admire them all. I sing in a filk choir, the n'Early Music Consort, shoot the longbow, and have a predilection for puns.
