So yes, I attended deviantART's big 10th birthday bash! It was tons and tons of fun. The big lulz of the evening, for me: about fifteen minutes after I got there, I was wandering around this lounge area where they'd set up flatscreen tv's playing a slideshow of artwork from attendants who'd signed the guestbook. And as I'm meandering through, I hear this from a cluster of three or so people sitting near one of the tv's: "Yeah, Azulon totally wanted Zuko dead."
I thought, "Wait, did I hear that right?" Then one of them said something about Iroh. I went over and said, "Excuse me, sorry to interrupt, but are you guys talking about Avatar?" And one of them said, "Yes we are! And you should totally come talk about Avatar with us! :D" So yeah, within the first fifteen minutes at the party, I'd already found some Avatards to squee with. XD
