I don't remember if I've posted about this video before. If I have, too bad! If not, then here we go!
Today's squeeing fangirl post is about Destino. It's a short film that started in the 40s as a collaboration between Walt Disney and Salvador Dali. You can go to Wikipedia to read more about it, I guess, but the important thing is this link to a high-def upload of Destino on Youtube.
Go. Watch it in fullscreen mode with the volume cranked up. Thank me later.

I've already seen it, but I'll thank you anyway.
In exchange, I say to you: go see Hugo, preferably in 3D. You'll thank me later, too.
Yeah, but have you seen it... in HD? :P I'd seen it before, too, but seeing it in really high quality makes it an all new experience.
I've seen previews for that and it looks really good.
Oooooh, looked pretty dang good all right! X-D
What's interesting is how it kind of sits on the edge between being totally abstract and being totally "normal", as it were.

It's so amazing seeing Disney put his skill towards more abstract stuff. Can you imagine if he did more collaboration with avant-garde artists?
Oh, that would have been fantastic.
