I wonder, sometimes, if these doctors know or care that they prescribe drugs that can be used to easily kill one's self. I wonder if they know that I've spent a lot of time thinking about what I will do if it comes down to Gael being hopelessly, terminally ill. Will I watch him suffer with no hope of survival? Will I watch his body twist with agony day after day as the cancer eats him from the inside out? How could I? That isn't love. No...if that time comes, he will just go to sleep.
And so will I.
Diego's story line has been on hold because of a scene I am working on with the friend (bless her) who occasionally plays my NPC Alfonso for me when I need a scene desperately. It's just been such an agonizing scene that we can't do much at a time. We, it seems, are wimps.
