Yes, I'm an also adding my 2 cents. Everyone else seems to do, often in an entirely hysteric fashion, and it's not as though I had anything better to do >.> (read: avoiding work).
Reading this and especially the comments, I can see why LJ gets increasingly referred to as a "sinking ship" - in a combination of increasingly bad judgment on 6A's side and hysteria and a massive entitlement complex on fandom's side, how could one not?

In case you haven't noticed (couldn't see how not *snerk*), I've been rather away for a while now.
Which is because I Moved. With a capital 'M'.
Of course I have no internet in my flat and the damn company hasn't rung me up even once (which is why I wrote a bitchy email at them yesterday, a-hem). On the other hand, that might actually prove to be a good thing as I start university - gasp! - tomorrow (not to say that the last three weeks weren't boring as hell... absence of internet + absence of anime = very bored Ela starting to watch Star Trek again). I'm only online right now because I'm home for the weekend - didn't have any clean clothes anymore and don't have a washing machine in and/or a washing salon near my flat. And because of the absence of clothes, I spent about half my money for this month (which should've gone into grocery shopping) on clothes and a pair of shoes yesterday. Woe is me.
And there's something else - moving sucks *ass* if you've got as many books, CDs, DVDs... generally 'junk' as me. It took two travels with our car (a roomy Skôda) to just get the basics there. Le eep. Unfortunately, I have to somehow get more stuff of mine (plus a few things my mother bought at Ikea for me) into my bag... which leads to one bag more and me not being able to lift it anymore. I am truly curious whether I'll make it to my flat without being flattened by this damn thing today. Ouch, my back.

Go and watch Butterfly Effect! It's a truly excellent movie and despite the two plotholes I noticed (one miniscule, one quite a bit larger but no-one'll notice it anyway), it's overall well-plotted. And Ashton Kutcher is, for a MTV moderator, a striking talent... why didn't I notice him beforrre? *bites into the table* If Demi hadn't gotten him before, I'd snatch him. Seriously (gurgh, and that with me xX)
The Chaos Theory reference is huh?-inducing at first, but makes more and more sense as the movie goes along.

No watching log today because I really couldn't be arsed. Spent half the day with the thumbs up my ass and the other half reading Sailor Moon (no, I really haven't read it before. And since someone lend it to me, I thought I could finally do so *shrugs*). Took a look into Inuyasha #160 but bleh. Fafner #7 subbed is also sitting on my HD, but I think I'll watch that one tomorrow later.

Since I'm watching so many anime/movies/dorama/ye gawds right now I can't remember jack after only a few days, I've decided to keep a log. It's, of course, a rip-off of aloysius' manga log but oh well =P Shall be written immediately after watching and shall, as that, be more messed up than Tanemura's writing. Hey, I'm trying! *g*

So, I've been going through my adress book and found it sadly lacking - there are adresses, but no phone numbers; phone numbers, but no adresses; emails and nothing else etc. etc. etc.
Since I've been thinking about my imminent change of adress (and, because of this, environments) recently and about the possible absence of internet for quite a while, I'd like to be more able to "keep in touch" with people... I'd like to be able to just call my friends or write a letter when I feel like it (probably more often the latter, my communication skills *suck*)...
So, to make a long story short - if you'd like me to have your adress and/or phone number, email adress or anything else, comment here. All comments are screened by default, so you don't have to worry about other people reading it. And even if you gave me one or more of those things before, give them to me again, I've probably lost them in the meantime anyway -___-;;;

For the record, I've now got XP for a few weeks now.
...
I should've gotten a Mac instead.
Anyway, it's running more or less smoothly (less where language packs are concerned), but all my inspiration's gone *poof*. I've done some Death Note icons, but none of them where all *that* good.
Save  and  which I liked for some reason. Ah yes, and  , but that's a bit older.
Having had no Death Note crack for two weeks now => very teary-eyed, very uninspired Ela.
I hope my order of Patarillo will come in soon and that I can get it even sooner (there's the miniscule problem of a 4:45 travel between me and the bookstore where I ordered -_-;)

It's odd, really... looking at LJ's fst community makes me want to an FST myself - unfortunately all the anime and manga I know really well are taken already and besides, my on-HD-music collection is - extensive as it is - rather limited in accounts of english (and/or fitting) songs (about 5000 on HD, 350 of those english). Also, my taste in english music is somewhat fucked-up, I must say. Sigh.
On this account, Tell the world (rename to .rar, unzip) strikes me as a rather Momo-ish song, defiant as it is. The male vocal fits both Toji and Kiley/Kairi, in different situations.

I've spent two-and-a-half hours discussing the (dis-)advantages of english with someone who doesn't speak english. She was insisting that english is a "vague" language and that you can't express yourself precisely in it.

And I ditched the overrides and just switched the journal to S2 mode. I love S2. I do unmentionable things to it and it doesn't complain (unlike aloysius, my drunken housewife).
