Seriously considering going to Yaoi-con, but I can't seem to get a solid word on how creepy (or not) it is. Anyone reading this ever been?
I guess what I want to know is, are the majority of attendees fairly chill, or is there a lot of awful "let's ask gay folks to make out for our amusement" type behavior |

IT IS SO SURREAL to see people I know on f_w, let alone appearing in a major webcomic. 8\ (Fortunately it's not a very accurate likeness or this would be even WEIRDER.)

- This wank is making me wonder. As it unfolded, I had stronger and stronger suspicions that this was just somebody with an intellectual disability doin' their fannish thing.
I mean, if it was just "OMG HDU not love my art", that'd be one thing, but that plus the bad art plus the incomprehensible writing plus the odd behavior...
I dunno, maybe I'm getting old and soft and mushy.
- It's only been two days and already my f-list is spattered with "IF U CARE ABOUT RACISM U R STUPID LOL" and "I AM TOO COOL TO WATCH CARTOONS OTHER PEOPLE LIKE" in response to the TLA movie. Wonderful! |
