Thanks to ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} eirien for letting us borrow Viggo]There's a point when Billy's just drunk enough to let go, stop thinking, let his fingers take over and play his guitar the way it sounds in his head. No surprise it happens with Rachel and Viggo: they both have such gusto for everything (cliché but true) that he just hangs on for the ride. There's a half-heard melody for a new song curling through him and Viggo's good enough to play it back to him, pausing only to take a toke and pass it on to Rachel, who's swaying and bending with the music. Rachel's no idea what the tune is, it could be Beecake or Bob Dylan, or perhaps a mixture of both. The wine and pot flood her veins, stripping away one of her few inhibitions: dancing alone. She turns slowly, eyes closed, glass in one hand and spliff in the other, letting Billy's voice and laugh and Viggo's growling chuckle caress her brain while the music carries her body. Billy finds he's playing alone, and he looks up to see Viggo lift his camera, following Rachel's movements with measured clicks. How could Billy have ever doubted this would be a good idea? Photos of Rachel like this will sooth him when she's away. ( If Billy's performing just a little, he can live with that. ) |
| 2:53 pm | Billy/Rachel: How about...? [Los Angeles, first week of March] It's a wonderful evening. Billy and Rachel spend it at Viggo's place, eating and drinking and talking and laughing. Some of the conversation centres around Viggo's photography, and Rachel spends a good amount of time oohing and aahing over samples of his work. She especially enjoys the photos he took in New Zealand, of Billy and his friends - giving her another angle on that incredibly important part of his life that she didn't share in. In the car on the way back to the hotel an idea starts forming, and she falls silent as Billy drives, letting him chat about what a great time he's had and how much he loves and admires Viggo. ( Billy knows he's not the only one who is completely charmed by Viggo ) |

| 12:13 pm | Billy/Rachel: A birthday treat [Takes place 7 March, Hawaii] After the Oscar madness, before the con, Billy and Rachel sneak off to Hawaii for a bit of a rest and a visit with Dom. Billy has some nefarious plans for her birthday, beyond just sun and surf. While she's off at the full-body massage spa day, he turns to Dom for help. Rachel's been quiet about it, but he knows she'd love something different in bed, something a bit kinky and exciting. Dom's a mate, and only takes the piss for fifteen minutes before becoming practical. Billy ends up with black leather, serious-looking handcuffs, but they're fur-lined so they won't mark her wrists and they close with a simple clip, no knots or locks. surprised and delighted |

| 9:17 pm | Billy/Rachel, Gentle Ravishment January 24, Glasgow Rachel's stint of filming on Fred Claus in freezing Chicago finished, she had planned on staying in the US for a few days until the SAG awards. But she just misses Billy too much, and his band is gigging on Friday. So she packs the new underwear she's bought in Chicago and flies to Glasgow instead of LA. He's busy, but Rachel's content to sit in on the band's rehearsals, read a script and catch up on phone calls and emails. The second night she's there, Billy finishes early and takes her out to dinner at the Hallion. Happy, content with each other's company and full of good food, they return to Billy's flat - Rachel now thinks of it as 'their' flat - and she instructs him to wait in the bedroom while she changes into her new underwear. It's fantastic having Rachel back for a bit, a lovely surprise. And they've had the frantic reunion sex, so he can be more relaxed tonight. He settles back in the armchair, waiting for her to ( come out and put on the show. ) |

| 10:03 pm | Rachel/Billy: On the Beach [Over the Christmas holidays, Rachel and Billy take some time out at a very private resort in the tropics] Rachel's lying in the shade on a sunlounger reading her book, wearing nothing but a pair of sunglasses. Billy had joked, just before their holiday, that he might hide her clothes for the duration - she'd called his bluff, and agreed to be naked the whole time. They've got a completely private beach with their house, the weather is perfect, and so there seemed no reason not to. Looking over her sunglasses she smiles as she watches Billy bobbing around in the waves, and then goes back to her book, feeling utterly content. Body surfing's almost as good as real surfing, and a deal more private. Which is rather important when you've a naked woman waiting for you. Billy comes back to shore eagerly, refreshed and ready to pounce, carefully moving behind the bushes until he's right beside Rachel. He'd been planning to tease her with a bit of water from his wet hands, but she's so lovely -- and so very naked -- that he can't tear his eyes away. ( it would be tricky getting on a plane, attached like this ) |

| 10:13 am | Billy/Rachel: All Tangled Up [London, Friday 1 December] It's been bliss, staying in London with Rachel, just one run up to Glasgow for a meeting and then back home. They've had dinner with friends, been out to the theatre and shops, and even the weather's been fairly nice. Rachel, bless her, has been so passionate he can barely stand. Billy lies back under the duvet, knackered, and contemplates how easily he could get used to this kind of life. Rachel stirs and wakes, curling herself around Billy. "Hello," she murmurs sleepily, and then stretches. "Mmm, I've had such a lovely sleep. How are you doing, lover?" "You've worn me to a nubbin," Billy admits, "all these late nights and early mornings, not that I mind being woken up like that." It wasn't a dream? |

The light has started to go since they fell asleep; it's now got that late-winter-afternoon look about it that makes you want to stay indoors and keep warm. Which is exactly what they're doing, she and Billy. To celebrate her return to the UK after so many weeks away, they're spending the day together, in bed. It's so good to be home, Rachel thinks, looking at Billy's sleeping face beside her, in their new - new to them, at least - London house. something different? |

| 12:20 am | Rachel/Billy, "Artist of the Year" The LA BAFTAS, November 2, 2006 Sudden gifts are the sweetest, and Billy's deeply grateful for the unexpected chance to see Rachel, to watch her graciously accept the award and hear her speak passionately about the craft and art of acting. Standing in the back of the theatre, having come straight from the airport, he feels as though he's falling in love with her all over again. When she spots him, she gives a gratifying shriek and runs to him, leaving surprised colleagues who smile a little patronizingly and murmur "newlyweds". Billy holds her tight, kisses her, ruins her lipstick and grins. Their loss. They stay hand in hand the rest of the event, and Billy can't help but feel a bit smug. Artist of the Year, yeah. And the dress... the dress has been driving him mad. Between the bare arms the low-cut neck, and the glimpses of leg though the lace, he's had to try not to drool in public. ( But they're not in public any more. ) |

| 9:21 am | rachelweisz/Billy Boyd: "As much for the giver" [October 20, New York City] It's late Friday afternoon, a non-filming day for Rachel. She's sitting at the desk in her hotel suite, composing an email to Jude to fill him in on her visit to their jazz club and bring him up-to-date with progress. She tap-taps away contendedly, listening to music, one leg tucked under her and a large bottle of fizzy water half-drunk on the desk. Having pressed 'send' to that mail she pulls up another blank one, intending to compose a long epistle to her sister, when the door buzzer goes. "Bugger," she mutters, wondering who's disturbing her. Aiming the remote at the stereo to lower the volume, she turns towards the door and calls, "Who is it?" A familiar, decidely Scottish voice answers, ( Room service ) |

| 11:47 am | rachelweisz and Billy Boyd, "Spooning" [Saturday, 23 September, Glasgow] No reason, really, for Billy to wake up. The day was idyllic, lovely warm weather, and a good long run with the dog, as it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Rachel and he made the supper together, trout and runner beans and pilaf with the good wine Darren had sent, in celebration of the Fountain winning the award. Billy hadn't known that there was such a thing as a science fiction film award, but it takes some of the sting out of being booed in Venice. They'd killed the bottle, reading, talking about what they'd do if ever they could, and cuddling till bedtime. So why's Billy wide awake and aching with arousal at... 2:37 AM? | 1:46 pm | Seeing Red: Billy Boyd/Rachel Weisz [Warning: sex during menstruation] The heatwave has gone and it's distinctly un-summer-like outside. Typical Bank Holiday Monday. Rachel's thankful for this, as it means she can wear comfy pyjamas and tuck herself in bed and feel sorry for herself with her cramps. She takes paracetamol and has a nap and wakes up feeling much better; but it's much too nasty a day to get up, so she picks up her book instead. She's so absorbed in it that she doesn't notice Billy come in the room until he's sitting on the edge of the bed, his hand on her leg through the duvet. "Hello, sweetheart," she says, looking up and smiling at him. "I brought the heating pad, but you look better," he says, pushing a lock of hair off her cheek and tucking it behind her ear. Rachel looks good enough to eat, dishevelled and inviting, but maybe that's Billy's desperation, after being apart so long. "Anything you'd like?' he asks, "Tea? digestives? yoghurt?" ( what's so upsetting about a little monthly blood? ) |

| 10:35 pm | jonnyleemiller and billy_boyd have a drink the pub They've made a family holiday of it, easy enough with Gerry's parents so close to Edinburgh, so Jonny's up a few days early, leaving him time to catch up with old friends before the rush of festival starts. That includes ringing up Billy for a quick stroll 'round town, a scone or two, while Gerry has the boys at the play park. Billy suggests a pint, instead, at his favourite pub in Edinburgh, he knows they won't be bothered by the others there. It's a good hike back up hill, so they'll walk the alcohol off. He's some questions for Jonny about babies, and they'll come out easier with a bit of lubrication. Even more, since Rachel's flight was cancelled, he needs company. ( They're grand babies ) |

| 9:35 am | Nice and Slow: Rachel Weisz/ Billy Boyd [London, July 23] The London tourist season is in full swing, but Billy manages to get a nice big suite at the Four Seasons -- he has plans for Rachel in that king-sized bed. He books two nights and supposes they may not bother to go out in between. They dress up a bit for checking in, giggling like children unexpectedly let out from school. Just walking into the hotel is wonderful, the air blowing against their skin like a cool river. They sigh in harmony, and hold no-longer-damp hands as they walk to the counter. They are treated like royalty, ushered to their suite with their bags and shown how everything works. The view across Hyde Park is stunning, and Rachel stands and gazes at it for a while, at the parched grass and all the people sweltering in the heat, revelling in the cool air of the room. Presently she realises that Billy has come up behind her, and she laughs with delight at the fact that he's standing right up against her and she doesn't feel like shying away; in fact the tickle of his breath on her neck brings goosebumps to her skin. "Hello, lover," she murmurs. ( Money may not buy happiness, but it can buy aircon. ) |

| 12:53 am | Rachel/Billy: Closer [June 3rd or so, New Zealand, on honeymoon] Billy watches the rain a bit morosely. He doesn't mind a drizzle, but this is more of a downpour. They'd been hoping to go out to a winery they've been told about, but that's clearly off. They've shopped, they've visited friends, they've eaten at favourite restaurants... He picks up a newspaper and checks the film listings -- and is chuffed to see that they're playing "On a Clear Day". But the rest he's seen already or they're shite. Thirty five screens and nothing to watch. "Anything worth seeing, sweetheart?" Rachel says, peering over Billy's shoulder. "Oh, look! 'On A Clear Day'. But I've seen that a few times...." She laughs. "Ooh hey, that cinema's showing 'Closer'. Looks like they're having some sort of run of films set in London. I haven't seen it, heard it's rather good!" ( The noise of her zip seems horridly loud ) |

| 11:15 pm | Rachel and Billy: silent sex [Friday, 4th May, Glasgow, before this] It's been wedding shopping all day. Rachel's had a brilliant time with her mum; Billy's been well out of it, just meeting them for lunch and staying away the rest of the time. They go and see a play in the evening, and then back at Billy's flat, Rachel's mum goes to bed reasonably early. Rachel and Billy have a nightcap and talk in the living room for a while, but Rachel starts yawning quite quickly, tired after a day spent tramping the streets of Glasgow. She takes a quick shower, and then pulls on a t-shirt and knickers for bed. Her mum's right in the next room, and although Rachel might be an exhibitionist, even that has its limits and the thought of being overheard having sex makes her cringe. She slides under the duvet and picks up her book, feeling thoroughly content with her day. ( the bed won't creak ) |
