It really fries me sometimes. Okay, so I didn't go to the soccer game and I didn't go to the last of Greek Sing practice. But the fact is, I considered the phone call with my mom more important and then? Well, hell, while I waited for everyone to get back I finally realized how I wanted the beginning of the story for class to possibly go (it's still a maybe but I'm writing something finally). And then I get the attendance list for tonight's practice and I ask how it went because it was going pretty well earlier. Apparently, they just talked for most of it and our president told me that she thought it was pretty sad that most of our executive council wasn't there, one of which was me. She also flat out said that she didn't care what the excuse was and hey, that's just her and I can respect that. Except for the fact that at least one of them was working, that I know of, and me? Yes, I skipped out on the bigger part of practice. But I just get writing, and I'm finally past a hundred words, I've got inspiration for this stupid topic and I wasn't going to stop. Not for Greek Sing practice, nothing. I know it's important. I know that. But my work is more so. For crying out loud, the rough draft of this story was due today and I didn't go to class because mine was less than a hundred words since I hadn't been able to write anything since the end of last week.
So, if they want me to continue to be able to hold this exec position, they're just going to have to deal when I pick finally being able to do schoolwork over a practice.
Some people may wonder if this is the first one I've missed and I can honestly say no. It's not. It's the second. But the reason I missed the first one? I was sick and was sleeping the day away basically after one of our ceremonies.
So excuuuuuuuse me if I miss a practice. I'm doing homework. Suck it up and take it.
Today was just so not the day for this one to happen. Even though nothing really happened I was already in a mood.
Oh screw it...I'm ending this in a way that I usually wouldn't. Eh..actually better not, I don't feel like swearing as much as I did a few minutes ago. As a matter of fact, I'll end this with something amusing that someone came up with last night on the phone. (And yes, you know exactly who you are, you pimp...^_^ ) We were talking about things that were over...like Bennifer. And then we realized that technically it's not over.
Bennifer the sequel. And here's what they came up with when we started in on the last names, trying to figure out if anything could sound weirder than Bennifer that made me laugh...and is causing me some laughter right now as well.
Garfleck won as the more amusing of the two. What clinched it? When we combined the two.
And on that very funny note, I'm ending this. *looks at mood* Hmm...guess that's not as true, but I'm leaving it.
