With a smile on his face...
That's what Uncle Toby always looked like and that's how I'll remember him. Bear with me, I had to scan this in and I don't know how to crop it so that you only get the picture. Hence the cut. (And yes, this is obviously an older picture because of how small I am but it's one of my favorites. ^_^)

Happy Birthday, Nebula!
Okay, so I'm a day late since I didn't get on yesterday. But I thought of you. *nods* My mom was informed that a friend's birthday was yesterday, lol. The conversation went something like this:

Mom: Is she the one that gave you the stuffed tiger?
Me: No, Mom.
Mom: The calendar?
Me: The Precious Moments Christmas card. And I got a story.
Mom: Well, I knew she'd sent you something.

LOL. And I even had the right age and everything! Anyway, [info]ebonypsyche will be able to tell you how I had a whole fic going where Dean drags Sam to Target to shop for supplies and Sam thinks something seriously wrong with his brother. But that ended up not working for me, so I wrote this one after I closed the other one. Because I haven't written wee!Winchesters in forever. So see? Instead of funny gen fic, you're getting kind of schmoopy wee!Winchester fic. *grins*

Of course, I laughed at the fact that she wrote about Dean's birthday for you while I ended up writing about Sam's. So yay, Nebula! You get Dean birthday fic and Sam birthday fic for your birthday. ^_^ I hope you had a fantastic day and I hope you like the fic!

You Should Be a Film Writer

You don't just create compelling stories, you see them as clearly as a movie in your mind.
You have a knack for details and dialogue. You can really make a character come to life.
Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling.
And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen!

I'm actually writing AU J2. Help a girl out here, flist!
Yeah, so a couple days ago, I caved and joined the fun at [info]reel_spn. And I claimed While You Were Sleeping and I'm working on trying to get that written now.

But I keep coming up blank on what job Jensen should have. I've got Jared working at a bar and grill place and Christian Kane is the guy he has a thing for (who sings there and has no clue who Jared is) and Jensen's going to be Chris' best friend who thinks Jared is Chris' boyfriend but falls for him anyway. See, I've got stuff worked out but I'm debating on how close I should stick to the movie when it comes to what he does.

I don't even know if it'll play a big part in the fic, it's just one of those details that's bugging the crap out of me. You ever have that happen to you?

Anyway, I could stick to the movie somewhat and have him work with furniture. Maybe the whole handcrafting individual pieces. (Honestly, who'd object to the sight of Jensen getting sawdust on himself while using power tools?) Or I could go in an entirely different direction like...um...

....painting? Something? See what I mean? I'm hitting a wall on this one.

So any ideas guys? Please? I'm open to suggestions. And now I've got to go for a bit but if you've got anything, feel free to throw it out there. Thanks!

Your Score: Katharine Hepburn

You scored 23% grit, 33% wit, 42% flair, and 19% class!

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

Find out what kind of classic leading man you'd make by taking the Classic Leading Man Test.

Fic: Too Much Interference (NC-17) 6/?
Title: Too Much Interference
Pairing: Buffy/Dean
Rating: NC-17
Spoilers: Buffy - through season 5, early season 6 later. Supernatural - at least through "No Exit" (2x06).
Summary: The Scoobies, Sam, and everyone else may feel like they know too much about Buffy and Dean, but they're not the only ones. Because, really, Buffy and Dean just want to know when they're all going to stop interfering in their lives. And more importantly, when they're going to stop interrupting them.
Disclaimer: Oh yeah. They're mine. Kripke and Whedon? They had to get my permission to create their shows. *pauses* Pfffft. Yeah, I wish. But I had you going there for a minute, didn't I?
Note: As you can probably guess, this is the companion piece to Aimee's Too Much Information. It will be done entirely from Buffy and Dean's POVs, hence the rating.

Okay, so I just realized that most of Aimee's half isn't posted here at LJ. So if you'd like to read the more updated version of Too Much Information (as in the one that has all the chapters to match my half) then go here. You'll find chapters from just about everyone's POV: Sam, Faith, Willow, Xander, Spike...yup, it's fun for all!

Note: Written for the challenge at [info]spn_btvs. My prompt was: Buffy/Dean - lyric: "So much hate for the ones we love, tell me we both matter, don't we" - R
Now, this is my third time re-writing this sucker and I'm still not completely happy with it since I didn't really address the "hate for the ones we love" part but mostly focused on the second half of that lyric. But today is the deadline and until later tonight this is pretty much my only chance on the computer. So here it is. Here's hoping you enjoy and feedback is always welcome.

Ow.
Okay, that's it. I am never ever moving my brother's crap out of the car again. Which, by the way, turned out not to even be his stuff. Oh, the bags are his but the stuff in them? His girlfriend's. And her son's stuff. What the hell? Two huge duffles plus a backpack were full of her stuff (and then she had a separate thing for socks and then her purse and a make up bag). My brother had one backpack worth of stuff.

Why was I the only one unloading? Oh that would be because I was the only one here at the time and it needed to get done.

There's a whole other story behind this but I really don't feel like getting into it right now.

Anyway, I'm injured now. *frowns down at leg then up at wrist and elbow...all on the left side* Just...long story that includes multiple trips to the car and dragging all that crap upstairs only to find out that none of the stuff I took out was his. I left the tote in the trunk though. And my brother's backpack was in the backseat, which I didn't know about so my mom got that when she got back.

These better be all nice and healed by Tuesday because I have to work and I really don't want to be standing on my feet for five hours when half my body is injured. *frowns*

Okay, I'm done now. I just really needed to bitch about it since all of them are starting to flare up again. (All right and I admit I just really wanted to use this icon.) *looks down at mood theme* Yeah, that's about right.

Wow. I'm actually watching Alias.
Why? Because when I clicked on the info, I saw that Sark was in the episode. Also, Vaughn is deathly ill, which I find kind of funny. That probably says something about me. But whatever.

Know what else probably says something about me? The fact that when I heard the line, "Vaughn could be dead in two days!" I couldn't stop the snort of laughter from escaping. Oh well. Look - Sark!

Randomly, does Vaughn ever make a different expression other than that frowny-one-side-of-his-mouth-tilted-up one? Because it doesn't seem like it.

Hey look! Another episode with Sark is on next. Good Lord, that man looks good in a convertible.

Also? I'm kind of pouting about the stain on my white shirt (new white shirt, might I add). Stupid work. With all the...carrying and cutting open boxes and stuff. Bah.

Oh hell.
Okay so the parentals went out of town on Thursday. They come back tomorrow. Well, that's fine. Normally it would mean that I'd have the house to myself. But they invited my brother to stay, which meant his girlfriend would be here too. And that was fine. They weren't doing so great - I mean he was tiring out easily because he couldn't afford to buy insulin and since he rarely comes over, he didn't know he had some here. So they said he could stay here.

Thing one? She brought her two year old son. Okay, fine, whatever. He's a cutie.

Then there's the food. As in, we're now running low on tons of stuff. Which again, okay. They're staying here and they've gotta eat. But seriously, all the snack foods and stuff that's for lunches? Uh, bye, nice having you in the pantry while it lasted.

There was also this whole big thing last night where my uncle actually picked me up from work since my brother and his girlfriend took off (guess who was babysitting? Did you guess my uncle? Gold star!) and then we hung out. Around 11:00, my uncle gets ahold of them and they say they'll be back within the hour.

Yeah, right. More like two or something. To top it off, they show up with a friend and each of them spent time downstairs with me and my uncle (who ended up staying the night since it got so late) but then all three went upstairs and left her son asleep on the couch until he woke up freaked out and wanted to go upstairs to his mom.

But the kicker? The reason I'm just...ARGH! That would be what I discovered less than thirty minutes ago. My mom left me the keys so I could check the mail. Well thank God I took them out of her purse on Thursday. Why? Because I just went to get the remote so I could watch TV in my room (whole thing where the same remote works for both TVs) and what do I find?

The door is locked. Now you're thinking, okay, just use the key to unlock it. Little problem with that. There is no key. It's one of those doors that only locks and unlocks from one side. I don't know when they locked it either. All I know is it had to be last night because I was just in there yesterday to check for messages on the machine. So it had to happen while I was at work or when the three of them were upstairs and I thought they were just watching TV.

My mom? Is going to be so pissed. Here's hoping her fiance has some kind of tool that could work because I'm telling you now that while I got close by trying to put something in that little hole in the doorknob, I didn't have any success. (I tested it by locking my door and leaving that open and trying to unlock that one thinking if it worked, I could unlock theirs. No such luck.)

So, if you guys have any suggestions, that'd be great. Because I'm fresh out and tomorrow? This is not going to be pretty when they get home.

*headdesk* I love my brother but I'm really wishing they had just told him he could come get his insulin and that's all. I wouldn't be having this problem then. *sigh*

God, I'm just going to go watch more of the anime Heidi let me borrow. I'm hoping it'll distract me.

Well that was quick.
So, I've been doing the whole job hunting thing ever since I got back (which, okay, not too long ago - less than two weeks) and yesterday I finally got a call from the first place I applied. (Call in a couple days, my ass. LOL.) We set up an interview for this morning at about 9:30 and I went and guess what?

I start at 12:00 and work until 6:00.

Yay me! I got a job for the summer. And it's part time so I won't be constantly working and can still actually do stuff. Woohoo!

And now I have to go finish getting ready. I had to throw my shirt in the washer to rinse it. Damn wrinkles. ^_^

Huh...so much for working on fic during the day! *g* Guess that's what I'll be doing later on tonight. I'm off!
