Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Look, a book review.

Sometime, about ten to fifteen years ago, I picked up the individual volumes of Caroline B. Cooney's Losing Christina Trilogy. I was going through my own obsession with teen horror novels and those were quite possibly my favorites. Parts of those books have stuck with me to this day: I still imagine a mansion where all the rooms are decorated to reflect the souls of different people (in my daydreams, the broken shells of girls littering the countryside are optional).

So when I found the omnibus version on sale in the local B&N clearance box and realized I could get it for about a dollar, I gave in to temptation. I'm a big fan of nostalgia and childhood joys. Of course, I didn't stop to think about why I got rid of those original volumes during one of my annual book purges.

The books I chose to read probably tell you quite about about what I was like at age ten )

Next up: I dig through my massive collection of ARCs and and see if I can find something frontlisty (and hopefully not YA). I'm not kidding about my ARC collection: I've got some stuff that I haven't gotten to yet that I've just noticed is now backlist. Holy crap.
