New cosplay pics!

First up, Hungary!

moriyama_umi made her costume. The pictures don't do her justice, she was EVEN MORE RIDICULOUSLY CUTE in person. And so in character, too! XD

And then there's me as Austria. This isn't terribly accurate (just bought the coat at military surplus and sort of half-assed a cravat), but I really wanted Hungary to have an Austria. And the wig was really fun.

That is a real baton, if you're curious. Three semesters of conducting! (But I wasn't very good at it.) And then I couldn't resist playing around. Because Austria's such a proper, genteel fellow, right?

Oh, Hungary. XD

	I don't know the story you're drawing your costumes from, but the pictures are wonderful. And you look very distinguished, especially next to the fireplace. (Reply to this)(Thread)

Thanks! I probably should have put more explanation in this post. (I posted it here so Umi and I could brainstorm about photo choice and formatting while LJ was down. Except she's not a JF member. Which is why it was public. Sorry, I'm babbling. Anyway.)

It's from a webcomic/manga/forthcoming anime called Axis Powers Hetalia. It turns countries into characters and uses them to illustrate history.

	That sounds like something that would turn out awful in an European comic but might actually be hilarious in Manga style. And the pictures are still awesome. (Reply to this)(Parent)
