I may see some wiggle room when one starts trying to break down porn vs erotica, but erotic romance is an ENTIRELY different thing.

LOL! It's a wanky topic. Honestly I think I've written more erotica than actual erotic romance, because the short short stories are not really romances with a romance arc.

It's pretty well agreed that you can't have a romance without a Happily Ever After, so to be an erotic romance it has to have the whole love, black moment, resolution, HEA WITH all the hot sex. Otherwise it's like making a porn movie about pirates and calling it erotic sci-fi because it has sex in it.
