Cilli,
Hey baby, I just wanted to take a few minutes to send you an email and let you know how much I miss you and that I've been thinking about you. Things have been moving very fast here, one reason I haven't been able to call much, so I'm just snatching a few minutes where I can and with the time difference you're probably asleep as I'm writing this (or you better be). Moving fast is good though, means I should be home a bit earlier than I first expected, but I may be out of pocket as far as calling goes for a bit longer. I trust if everything wasn't all right back home I'd have already heard from you. So, why not humor your lonely husband and tell him all the dirty things you'd like him to do to you when he gets home?

Cillian smiles as he climbs out of their car. Ben has surprised him with a getaway to New Zealand and his excitement was brimming to the surface now that they were at the hotel. Turning to his husband, he looks up and bats his eyelashes at him. "This was probably the best idea you've had...well, aside from marrying me that is."

"That was a pretty damned good idea, wasn't it?" Ben replies, grinning and oh my god glad to be in a hemisphere not in the throes of summer. He kisses the younger man's lips, nipping lightly before hoisting their luggage.

( Cillian is walking in the brisk October morning air as he makes his way down to the hedge maze at Sarlat. He still feels kind of silly for having suggested to Ben that they 'reenact' their first meeting, but his romantic heart begged that they do this. He wants to sit in the clearing on their bench, holding Ben's hand and marveling that they'd met a year ago. His hands are buried in his pockets, one of which clutches a small box that holds his anniversary gift for Ben. With a smile on his face and spring in his step, he makes his way into the hedges. )

Placing his lover's beer in front of him and his water nearby, he drops to his knees and leans against Ben's leg as he looks back out on the crowd. There's a lot of people milling about and he just loves these times when they come out and relax at the Club, enjoying being at Ben's feet. )

Celebrating the 4th with Clan Browder (Players Only) Jul. 4th, 2006 @ 01:29 pm
Ben and [info]c_murphy celebrate an American holiday with Clan Browder and a side of revelations.

Cillian heads back into the house to retrieve more picnic items for Grace. He is glad to be of help and as he gathers the condiments he glances out the window at Ben standing with his father and other guys around the barbecue. A smile pops out as an image of Ben as a young boy, standing there as he learns how to grill rushes into his mind. Another image sweeps through his brain of a teen-aged Ben blowing things up.

With a chuckle, Cillian heads back out and deposits the items on the table, making sure they are arranged well and within reach. The day is an important one and Cillian is still just a tad nervous about getting to know people and whether or not they will accept him in Ben's life or in the fabric of the Browder family. He turns to watch the crowd and takes a deep breath.
