I signed up partly because it seemed like a good idea at the time, but mostly because it's slated to be the last year of the challenge so I won't get another chance. <br /><br />I had several ideas, but they all either felt too much like short(er) stories (I don't want to end up with 10,000 words of story and 30,000 words of padding) or too big for me to manage in the time available. Except for one ... so I'm going with that and I'm trying not to worrying about how nebulous it feels at the moment.<br /><br />If I finish it'll be the longest story I've ever written by 25k or so words and the only thing preventing me from railing at myself for not sticking with the lurking a little more rigidly, is the fact that I'm too busy trying to work my idea into a story and decide whether or not it's going to be an AU.<br /><br />I have a spreadsheet and currently I'm using it to help me keep track of stuff and build scenes.
