chaobell | 09:48 pm - Penumbra: Tetsujin

Note that this isn't quite what he'll be wearing, but it's as close as I could get in Poser. Yes, I know. Package. Mr. Tetsujin is fully functional, don't you know. It won't be in the game, but it's canon. Why? Because I said so.

I'm quite happy with the way Tetsu's skin came out. I was going for the plastic look. And although the eyes weren't exactly what I was after, I think the way they came out looks pretty freakin' neat.
Went out of my way to make him look not quite real, pointy ears and glowing eyes and plastic skin aside. In general, the face is quite a bit more stylized than that of the flesh-and-blood characters. I may still tweak him a little; he's supposed to look synthetic, after all.
Tetsujin will be Tank Character #2. Usako, naturally, is Tank Character #1, but that's beside the point. No magic, not much in the way of special skills, not particularly speedy, and uses a gun (and, as we all know, sword trumps gun in every RPG!). However...hellacious defense, possible self-repair (permanent, if mild, Regen-class spell), very high magic defense except vs. lightning. What few special attacks he'll have will probably involve his robot dog in some way.
Yes, robot dog. Its name is...Dog. Yeah. Being cooped up on an abandoned satellite for a few thousand years with nothing but a supercomputer for company can get mighty boring. So Tetsujin built himself a pet from spare parts. He knows humans name their pets things like Spot and Fluffy and so on. Dog has no spots, nor is he fluffy--it's just a dog. Expect at least one scene of various characters trying to persuade Tetsu to name Dog something a little more original, and Tetsu being thoroughly confused by this.
