Okay.
ER fen, plz do not kill me kthxbye...
But, uh...after the events of this past Thursday night, plus a rewatching of 10-3 and attention paid to some background details...I am beginning to register a faint Coop/Morris blip on the gaydar.
This is one series where I do not seek the gay. If the gay is not right there in the open, I do not attempt to dig it up. But there have been some small, subtle little hints toward it.
God, I hope I'm wrong, because I cannot fuckin' stand Morris. I can think of a number of people I'd rather see in his place in this possible situation.
Frank, for example.
Even the hint that Coop might attempt to hook up with the Frigid Bitch of the East this week doesn't scare me as much as the thought that he may have previously been, or may currently be, boinking Dr. Dumbass.
But it's there. It's damned subtle, and if you blink in 10-3 you'll miss it, but it's there. Hint: the scene where Coop ends up having to get zapped due to a tag-team fuckup by Neela and Morris? Keep your eye on Morris. Especially when Abby is picking up the charts. Also, the meltdown outside in 10-5: still subtle, but not as much so.
Dear God, I hope I'm wrong about this and they're just really really good friends, but it is gnawing on my brain something fierce.
