Oh yeah, it isn't shocking by then, but I just meant that the intergenerational aspect reminded me of the Twilight stuff. (Twilight is just really not horrific, actually. Well, that's the least of its problems, perhaps). Yep. And the old people turning young. Anne Rice also did the stuff about babies turning into adults super quickly in the Taltos books, and there it was ALSO actually creepy, as was the incest there too. Okay, Twilight doesn't have incest, but hanging around a little kid as a family friend, and having them as your destined mate is emotional incest, sorta. (Zomg, someone should rewrite Twilight, but channeling Anne Rice when she was actually not awful! Okay, maybe they could add in the most lolarious scene from Memnoch the Devil, but anyway.)
