Ah, I guess the mods have spoken.
I just don't see the point for a post on John Updike. If we are even looking at the newspaper, or Time, Newsweek, whatever, we can find out about it. The discussion that would be likely to result is not IMHO, what I would slot in as "fandom" as well.
