I agree with Ashenmote on the no deaths policy. If you're really concerned about missing the death of a fan, then you can say something like, "No deaths, except under rare circumstances. If you want to know if the announcement you want to make qualifies, contact a moderator. Do not post a death without prior approval from a moderator. It WILL be deleted."

You might also say that you're willing to mirror content from fandom_lounge that doesn't contain deaths (which would be work and suffering for you, but would certainly increase the membership quickly).

(And after all of that, I'll mention that, oddly enough, I'm still really sad about Michael Jackson.)
