I have a theory about HP wank.
See, every once in a while, HP wank comes up. And it gets posted on F_W. And the F_Wers are stunned by the all mighty power of the HP wank.
"Bow before me, for I am your god!!!11" says the HP wank.
"Wow, wankiest fandom EVAH!" says F_W (secretly wondering where Smallville is).
And after about 50 bazillion comments, the wank dies down, but not after several other posts and much eating ones own.
"That was wanky," say the F_Wers. Smallville remains out for the count.
(On a side note, I believe this is because HP, specifically H/D fandom is SO wanky, they've actually started causing rolling wankouts because there is only so much wank alloted to the internet.)
And after three days, THE WANK REINCARNATES.
So, in conclusion? HP Wank: It's like Jesus, in a way. |

1. If it's with a girl, it's a beard. If it's with a boy, it's a practised interaction. If it's Dom and Elijah, it's love.
2. The simplest explanation is never the correct one.
3. Everyone involved in The Lord of the Rings excluding Dom and Elijah is a bastard.
4. Chartreuse=yellow.
4b. Dom learned his colors from alcohol, not Blue's Clues like he should have done.
5. If I ever see Dom and Elijah with girls in any context, I am a liar even if I have proof. If I casually mention I saw them without girls, I am believed and they are teh gay.
6. Ian McKellen is a bastard oppressing the one true Domlijah, despite how hard he's worked and how much he's risked for gay rights.
7. Pictures are worth a thousand words, but if Dom and Elijah are in the picture, those thousand words are just "Gay" written a thousand times. In sparkly pink.
8. Everyone knows the rumors about Dom and Elijah, even though they don't appear to.
9. Standing with a member of the opposite sex=gay, but sad.
10. Standing with a member of the same sex=gay, but oppressed and angry.
11. Dom and Elijah standing together in the exact same position as in any picture with anyone else=gay and gay.
12. Standing=gay.
13. Sitting=gay.
14. Kneeling=gay.
15. Existing=gay.
16. You're not paranoid if they really are out to get you, and baby, everyone's out to get the one true Domlijah.
17. Saying "I value my privacy" is the same as wearing a big pink sign saying "Please speculate endlessly about what my co-worker may or may not be doing. I'll cheer you on by not knowing my colors."
18. Saying "We're just friends" means "She's a beard. It has nothing to do with my desire to keep my private life private."
19. Saying "We'll probably end up getting married" is a joyous, wonderful occasion if Dom says it about Elijah, but means nothing if Dom says it about Billy.

Over in fandom_wank right now, there's a post about someone's objections to RPF. She (the OP) is asking for people to tell her why they write RPF. I'm considering responding, but I don't know if I actually want to go over there. So I will be ranting about it for a little while.

Okay, I was channel surfing, got to the Disney Channel, and saw some girl kissing some guy. And it's on TV (on the show) for some reason, and some guy cries and says "Their love is so pure!" and I think, "IT'S ALL FOR YOU, DOMLIJAH!!!1!!" I have been completely corrupted by dl_anon. |
