In an ideal world, Return of the King would have gotten more Oscar nominations than any other movie in the history of ever. As it is, Cold Mountain got shut out of both Picture and Director, and I really don't think Mystic River can compete on an "epic film" level. Also, I imagine that Harvey Weinstein is having a coronary right now. And that's a great way to start your day. |
