Making friends is hard for some people. Talking to people can be even harder. Yes, one could easily say "how can talking to someone be so hard??" and I don't know why, all I know is that it can take me hours, if not days, to call someone on the phone for legitimate reasons, and I would bury my face into a book or a DS just to avoid making eye contact with other people. I don't know why, it just happens that I have nonexistent social skills.

You can keep saying "just pick a mutual interest and start from there" or whatever, but it won't work if that person's problem involves being unable to say anything.

THIS IS THE INTERNET, I WOULD THINK PEOPLE ACTUALLY KNOW ABOUT THIS. Except apparently not!

Dammit, that wank could have been funny if the secret wasn't so depressing.

Last September 26, typhoon Ondoy (international codename: Ketsana) ravaged the Philippines, more specifically the central area near the capital Metro Manila.

Personally I haven't been affected because I live pretty much on top of a hill and nearly isolated, but several people I know got their houses flooded in and destroyed and several hundred thousand people are stranded.

Currently playing the undubbed version of Suikoden: Tierkreis, and I'm having so much fun with it it's ridiculous. I don't think there ever was a game wherein I actively like 90% of the characters and are okay on the rest. Aand, Paku Romi!

Also, I'm developing a weakness for male tsundere types. :/ Where did that come from.

Done with Persona 4. ♥ The story does go eeeh by the end, and it could have been fleshed out a lot more, but I enjoyed it a lot because of the characters.

And I loved the in-dungeon conversations. Scrubs references ftw!

Next up, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army. It seems to be entertaining so far. And I like the battle system.

Trying to get used to Persona 2's battle system, but frankly, I'm having a really hard time with it. DO NOT UNDERSTAND CARDS AND CONTRACTS.

Lately I've become so dependent on Plurk that it's kind of sad. I mean, I need to TELL everyone what I had for breakfast! And my random stupid thoughts for the moment! And complaining why some of the quests have deadlines but it's not written ANYWHERE in the game! Or why my Chrono Trigger copy refuses to work, or whine about how my cold is giving me asthma attacks and how I tend to wheeze whenever I breathe!

The amount of glee I get in seeing my country (well, the TV forums of my country) being featured in F_W disturbs me.

Personally, I think a Twilight drama would be very, VERY successful, given our usual TV shows include the same tropes and cliches that made Twilight a hit (love triangles, forbidden love, the supernatural, etc). And yes, even the original Twilight script would work. I love my country but the quality of our soaps... haaaaa. Although nowadays it seems most of the shows on TV involve superheroes, so who knows.

I spent nearly 10 hours on P4 yesterday, with probably a third of the time being spent on crocheting stuff. orz;; Really enjoying it so far. The characters are much more likable than P3's, and even if it isn't as graphically slick as P3 (and the load times whyyyyy), it's still pretty smooth. I'm in Kanji's dungeon now (AHAHAHA BEST/WORST DUNGEON EVER) and despite the occasional lags and the ridiculous difficulty slope, it's still a lot of fun.

Cannot wait for the DS Megaten oh yes.

Latest wank reminds me of my flist.

I like my lj flist. They're all mostly nice people. But. But.

I hate hate HATE it when they start posting fanart that aren't theirs on their lj without crediting the original artist. I mean, ugh, wtf?
