So, link hopping until my sleeping pill kicks in, and I came across a journal for a different RPG for my girl pup. And I was like "ZOMG?" cus I was confused, like I thought maybe I picked her up in another game without remembering. And wrote stuff and everything. *facepalm*

I wonder about how my mind works sometimes, I really do. It's amazing that I function at all.

Things that shouldn't be stressing me out are stressing me out <------------------this much!------------------> and my focus is fleeting, which makes writing difficult. I've been offered a promotion at work to a new position, and the whole thing is really fucking with my head because, long story short, once bitten twice shy. Apparently Shan has a small role (?) in an upcoming movie called The Holiday, currently in production. The /only/ reason I'm excited about this is because Kate Winslet (!!), Jack Black (!!), Rufus Sewell (!!!), and John Krasinksi (!!) are in it. (And Cameron Diaz and Jude Law, but they don't make me all !!!) Oh yes, I think I definitely need to make this movie in-game canon. It's filming in LA (and London), so shouldn't be too hard to make it fit. :D

You know, I was just curious about the development of relationships between pups in the game. It seems like one minute I read a log with two of them meeting, and then bam they're together. Is it because of how dense the emotional content of the game is? Is it because it's easier to write a pup in a relationship (meaning with one writing partner, not that relationships are easy)? Is it because there's an expectation that pups, if not a 'slut pup,' should be paired up?

I have a bitch of a time with my pup when it comes to relationships. I don't consider Shan a 'slut pup' but she's jumpy about formalizing any sort of relationship, and it sort of fascinates me how other pups seem to slip and glide from one serious partner/lover to the next. Honestly, I think my pup would cry and angst and denydenydeny for a long time before she'd /ever/ give the go-ahead to be someone's partner.

And of course there's differences between all the pups, but is it just me or does the quicked relationships seem to be a pattern in game?

If your pup is in a serious relationship, why do you think that is? (In and out of game reasons?)

If your pup is a 'slut pup,' is it because they don't want relationships or...?

What about pups with several serious partners? Or those with life partners NPCed and have them play around in game?

I love it when I take the pup for a walk at night, and it's dark but still pretty warm, nobody's out, and I can just crank up the music on my iPod and just /dance/ my way through the neighborhood. Old 97's "The New Kid" is pretty much the best song ever for just that activity, cus you walk, twirl, shake your butt, anything, and it all works.

My room is 300 degrees. I can't think. Can't type. Have stupid internet speak running through my head (example: lulz, that's gangsta/gangsta/); god help me. Am picking at my tags, but I don't think anything decent's going to come out tonight.
