How do we forgive our fathers? Maybe in a dream?
Do we forgive our fathers for leaving us too often
or forever when we were little?
Maybe for scaring us with unexpected rage or making us nervous because there never seemed to be any rage there at all?
Do we forgive our fathers for marrying or not marrying our mothers?
For divorcing or not divorcing our mothers?
And shall we forgive them for pushing or leaning,
for shutting doors, for speaking through walls,
or never speaking, or never being silent?
Do we forgive our fathers in our age
or in theirs
or in their deaths...?
Saying it to them or not saying it?
If we forgive our fathers, what is left?

| Hunger Games |

I just finished reading the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy. Read all three this weekend. They are written very, very well. Extremely easy to read, not simple or 'little' words, but they have a flow that lets you eat the words up.
The story was good, very good. Kept you up and down and off center. Easy to love or hate the characters quickly.
I'm glad I read them and, as I am known to do, will probably read them again a few times.

Anna ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) until_you_burn and I talk about how my pup, Sebastian Rulli seems to be like the real life one in that both are walking fortune cookies when it comes to how they talk and the sayings they spout (among other strange similarities), so when RL Sebastian posted his New Year's tweet I laughed because it sounded just like something Cit Sebastian would say/post.
Thank you for the life and love, flowers, air and sun, for the joy and pain, as it could and could not be. I live each day with optimism and bringing goodness everywhere a heart full of understanding and peace. I close my ears to all falsehood and lying words, selfish, caustic or hurtful. I open myself to all that is good, that my spirit is filled only with blessings.
