Correct me if I'm wrong but this picture is the picture that [info]cesare detagged and not the actual version (it's not sad that i can notice that so easily, honest!)... so her claim that a 'dear friend' of hers works for getty, took the original and gave it to her? hah.

Also, here, she says she took some of the photos herself but can't reveal who she works for.

Hmm, it just seems a little asshattish to take the real detagged images (that someone else got for you), turn them into photos and then claim you took them yourself.

Ahahahaha! Yeah, you're right. When I detagged it, Billy's mouth was covered, so I took off the tag and left his mouth a little bit open, but in the actual picture it was closed.

So her claim that's the original is total bullshit. I'm tempted to comment to that effect but I'm too tired. How fucking ridiculous.

I have been a photographer for over sixteen years and worked with many well known companies throughout the web as well as WB Studios and Disney...

Please, I allowed Miss Gamgee to post these pictures to the community with the feeling that they would be apperciated by those who also adore the actors who I have captured images of. I do not feel she has to prove herself any further so I have requested that she remove the images from this community and just keep them for her own personal enjoyment. No hard feelings everyone but I do not apperciate a fellow co-worker having to prove herself beyond what she has tried to put forth to the bunch of you already. She is a very talented individual and deserves respect.

Oh my. Check her journal.

Around noon today my sketchbook was stolen out of my car while I was sitting at a park eating lunch... inside the sketchbook were seven finished drawings and three that were unfinished... it was inside a brown leather binder with a clear plastic cover which had a photograph of Dom and Billy inside. I'm making a plea for anyone who frequents my journal or those of the dominicmonaghan or bboyd community to keep an eye out on EBAY or on other Dom or Billy fansites for these sketches...

If someone realizes what they have they might try to sell them passing them off as their own work... the ONLY websites that have permission to use these sketches are dominic-monaghan.us and boydism.net so if you see them anywhere else besides there or in other livejournal communities that I haven't listed above LET ME KNOW !

Considering that she was passing off printouts of detagged photos as "originals" do you think these sketches might not be totally on the up and up? This could turn out to be a rich vein of wank indeed.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the photo it's traced from. And I wonder if she's actually just processing photos through a Photoshop filter to make them look sketched. Some of her sketches look legit but others REALLY look like filtered photos.

I agree. None of the images are high-res enough to see any paper grain or anything, so there's no way to prove it, but...

Also, I too thought that non-photo-reference sketch looked awful familiar. Makes ya wanna take a look through Bag End Inn...

It does. And if you look at the back of his sleeve, it looks like there's some odd pixelation going on there or something, the way photos tend to do if you run certain filters on them a few too many times.

Hmm, her reply is aggravating. Her passive-aggressive threatening you with legal action (if you don't stop talking)? WTF. I think it's probably safer to take down the dewatermarked image, the fines for doing that are quite hefty and I wouldn't be surprised if she actually DID report you.
