Video Game Meme!
1. What was the first video game you have ever played?
FFIX.
2. What was your first console?
PS2. And I was in college. I'm still not entirely sure how I got a reputation for being a video game god. I suppose if you count first console played on, the PS1 though.
3. Have you ever visited a video game arcade?
Yes.
4. What was your first handheld?
Gameboy color.
5. What was the first game you've beaten/cleared completely?
FFIX.
6. Games based off of real sports: Yay or Nay?
Never tried. No inclination to do so.
7. Online games: Yay or nay?

8. Do you play any Massively Multiplayer Online RPG games? (MMORPGs?)
I'm not allowed within a ten-foot radius of them. ;_;

It's a nice bonus, but I have played FFV. (Zing?)

Zidane, Freya, Vivi, Dagger, Auron, Balthier, Fran, Locke, Yuri, Nicolai, the Killer Seven, Kuja, Nephenee, Soren, Ike, Oscar (ilu dude), Lyn, Erk, and Marth by the transitive property of Smash. If he is still the prettiest attention whore princess ever to be a princess in Shadow Dragon, then...at least the transition from SD to Smash fills me with less abject hatred for the transition from PoR to Smash.

If by 'theories' you mean...understanding the characterization presented in the game? Because...yes? Is this not something that other people do? Shit, dudes, seeing the characterization easter eggs in games is half the fun.

Boss Battles/Villains
24. Hardest Boss Battle
I'm still traumatized every time I hear the Black Knight music. This is problematic, as it's the background music on one of the Brawl stages.
25. Most Frustrating Boss Battle
There were those little bitches that were skipping around Cyan's consciousness.
26. Most Rewarding Boss Battle
The Solomon battle in Shadow Hearts: Covenant was pretty hardcore. Also, the final battle of Okami. I like boss battles where I have no guarantee of winning and have to just be the video game whisperer to survive, it seems.
27. Funnest Boss Battle
Anything where I can honestly pull out all the stops and not instantly kill it. Ruby and Emerald weapon, perhaps.
28. Most Boring Boss Battle
The final fucking battle with Yevon in FFX. He casts auto-life on your entire party. YOU CAN'T DIE.
29. Boss Battle that dragged out for a long, long time
The triple battle in FFIX. (ETA for posterity: YIAZMAT. YIAZMAT.)
30. Boss Battle with the coolest music
The final battle with Seymour, or the final battle with Kuja. Either one. Also, the battle with Astaroth in Shadow Hearts: Covenant.
