The costumes were lovely, though, and I added a Gothic Lolita dress to the list of costumes I want to make.

If you're serious about wanting to make a gothic lolita outfit I recommend that you track down The Gothic Lolita Bible, a Japanese book that is-almost-but not quite a catalog of different types of GL clothing and outfits, along with pictures of models wearing said cute outfits :D.

If you live near San Francisco, you can find the books in the Kinokunya book store, in J-town.

I plan on picking one up when I go into J-town on friday, and if you can't find the GLBs online, then I'll be more than happy to post or send you scans. :D
