Rusalka, Rusalki, Rusalky
These are the spirits of fresh water in the folklore of Russia and eastern Europe, where they are also known by the names of Chertovka (Jokestress), Shutovka (Demon Joker), Leskotukha or Loskotukha (Tickler) and Khitka or Khitkha (Abductor). In the south of Russia, they are described as beautiful young maidens with long blond hair, sometimes wearing diaphanous white garments. In the north, green hair, pallid faces and ghastly, glowing green eyes above a torso endowed with overly huge breasts. Whether beautiful or ugly, their habits were the same; the Rusalki would inhabit the water during the dark months, emerging to dwell in the forests and glades during the months of summer. In this later abode, they would entice young men to them with singing and dancing on moonlit nights. Once the human was within their spell, the evil nymphs would pull their victim into a deadly embrace under the water, never to be seen again. Sometimes the Rusalki could be capable of love. In one tale, a Rusalka married a mortal prince on his promise that he would always be faithful to her. One night he broke his promise and she returned to the river. The prince was distraught with grief for his stupidity and his loss, and set out to find her. Arriving at her abode, he begged her forgiveness and reaffirmed his love. The prince desired only to hold her in his arms, caring for nothing else. She warned him that she was truly a Rusalka once again, although she still loved him. Knowing the consequences of holding her once more, he kissed and embraced the only one he had truly loved and then died.

LOST BOYS!
I'm going to take a brief look at the cast and then a very long look at Sam's rather interesting wardrobe choices. I mean it's all about the hair and the clothes... the vampires and the plotline were secondary.
*points at icon... see, Spike is not impressed... what the bloody hell kind of Vampires are these?*

Nick Wechsler (who played Kyle Valenti on Roswell) showed up in the first episode of Terminator:Sarah Conner Chronicles. These caps are from the presentation pilot. I don't have the actual show on a disc so I can't cap it. Pity, because Dean Winters shows up in the 'aired on TV' version. It's some other guy in this copy.

I've been reading the comics that are set after the end of Buffy:the Vampire Slayer and Angel:the Series. So instead of screen-caps, how about some samples of the Angel comic book.

I've been good. I've been sparing about how often I looked at Live Journal today and I'll try not to look at all tomorrow. No posts to the Daily comms so there's nothing new for the members to look at. It's likely a near-useless gesture, but I can stand to cut down on my LJ time in general.
