As you may have surmised, I have survived the South, no thanks to giant cockroaches and the southern sun. (But with many thanks to the wonderful cooks who populate the South and need to learn that the North is just as good, but without giant bugs or terrible burning sun and with snow and me.)

As most people know, I am not technologically compatable by any means. I am currently trying to get my little used iPod mini to work so that I have plane music Saturday morning. This is looking less and less likely. It turns out that I never received (or my brother took, either is possible) one of my cables. However, more immediately problematic, my computer won't recognise my iPod. Er. On the apple website, it says the iPod should be fully charged before I do anything drastic, but I can't charge it until I hook it up to the computer. (Um... and some music might be helpful in the near future too). Help?

Nevermind. I did it; I just need a new cable.

I'm not sure whether this is going to be my main journal or not - I'm going to have to see where the fandoms go and, more importantly, where my friends go. However, until I see where everyone ends up, this and GJ and IJ and LJ will be updated equally. Does anyone know if there is a program that would help me with this or do I need to manually do it?
