I find the Japanese amusing. So amusing, in fact, that I spend what is probably way too much time browsing Japanese fan sites when my grasp of the language is rather hilariously limited.

The point being that I finally found some Japanese Re-Animator fan art. So I have to share this discovery, naturally.

A note of caution for those not entirely jaded by the conventional styles of anime: a lot of this is crazily cute, even nauseatingly so. But not all. And it just goes to show that little girls can find killer intestines just as amusing as little boys can. Duh.

This artist has a number of drawings of Herbert (dude, and she even draws his mole; I'm totally impressed) and other characters of Jeffrey Combs' up, including:
- Herbert West Lives!
- Herbert and another Combs persona.
- Ditto.
- Herbert in Beyond Re-Animator.
- A bundle of Jeff doodles.
- Another Herbert.

More art of Jeff, mostly Star Trek related, but also including a crowd shot of characters, and a drawing of Herbert.

Herbert, by another artist.

No one draws Dan.
