"My, I believe you just might be infringing on my copyright. How rude."

Loki snorted, twirling the stake between his fingers. The timeline was already dissolving around him; deprived of its starting point, the garish interior of the Mystery Spot was twisting into the familiar swirling colors of the place between times. "Next you're gonna tell me you've got a copyright on Bill Murray, too."

The djinni crossed its thin arms, stepping out of thin air onto a part of the floor that hadn't yet faded. "Don't be silly. That movie was entirely inaccurate."

"I always kind of liked it," the trickster said with a shrug. "Especially the part where he steals the groundhog. Anyway, if you're here to scold me, save it. Don't think you'd be very fond of the future we'd be having if Mr. Chosen One hadn't learned his little lesson, here. He's not exactly fond of your kind."

"It would be a little hypocritical of me if I was here simply to lecture you, don't you agree? Nice touch with sausage, by the way-- very classy." The djinni's inhumanly pale features twisted into a faint smirk. With a hip-swaying walk, it made its way over to one wall and made a theatrical show of examining the tasteless artifacts sticking out of the surface. It made a frame with its fingers and peered through the space in between at a set of glowing dice. "No, I'm here for something much more important."

"And that is...?"

Ruby-red eyes fixed Loki with an amused look as the djinni turned back to face him. "Interior decorating, of course. These abandoned timelines are even better than estate sales." It hmmmed and stared up at a point somewhere above the trickster. "Tell me, what do you think of that florescent shark's head?"

Loki sighed. "Sure. You can stick it right above that creepy giant statue head you've already got. It'll be a theme."
