It had seemed like a good idea at the time. Then again, most of Katou's life could be summed up like that. Steal his sister's music box? Follow some weirdo girl into the back of the bar and light up? Accept a pill from a foreign creep? Yeah, all seemed like a good idea at the time. Which went a long way towards explaining how he got into this situation in the first place.
'This situation' being pinning the fucking Messiah up against the wall and kissing him like his life depended on it. Which, of course, it didn't--fun thing about being dead was seeing how many little sayings no longer applied. But the point was that Setsuna's lips were soft and parted easily under his when he pressed his advantage. And the fuck of it all was that it still seemed like a good idea. Especially when Setsuna made surprised noise and his hands went up to Katou's shoulders but just rested there, not pushing him away. It was easy to pretend that this was idiotic beyond even his usual standards, because this was Setsuna he was talking about here. Setsuna who basically owned his soul, Setsuna who saw through his bullshit right away, Setsuna who had a girlfriend--
Setsuna who was kissing back. It was Katou's turn to be surprised now, voice coming out as a sort of fucking girly little gasp as hands tangled in his hair to pull him closer. And yeah, with that lean body arching up against his and dark eyes staring at him, owning him, it was hard to remember why he shouldn't do this.
Because, hell. If things that had seemed like good ideas at the time had gotten him this far, who's to say they weren't good after all?
