"Sugar, have you seen the nailpolish?"

Thomas jumped slightly, causing his chair to wobble. "Huh? What?"

Blaze stuck his head out from the closet he was rooting through. "The nail polish. Either black or green, preferably." Irritably, he brushed a stray strand of hair out of his eyes.

"Um, no. Why?"

"Oh, I told Luc I'd do his nails for him today. And I can't find his favorite colors." Finally extracting himself from the closet, Blaze stretched his arms over his head and made a face. "Maybe silver would work."

It took some effort, but Thomas somehow managed to tear his eyes away from the tan, well-toned chest being flaunted at him. "H-huh? Oh. He. He might like that. I dunno, though." He worried his lower lip between his teeth, frowning slightly. "He's pretty weird though. Kind of--"

"He's not crazy," Blaze snapped too quickly.

Thomas flushed. "N-no that's not what I-- okay, I mean, some people do say that, but-- to me, he's just... mean."

"...yeah, he can be that." There was a jingling noise as Blaze slipped his bracelets on. "I'll talk to you later, okay? I should go see him."

"R-right!"

Thomas tried not to stare too blatantly at Blaze's ass as he went up the stairs, but really, some battles weren't worth fighting.
