[FIC] Various
Cleaning up my desktop, I found 1x IRC drabble and 1x unfinished fic. They're both going up here.
Title: N/A
Fandom: Reikan Shouhou Kabushikigaisha
Pairing: intended to be Fehmut (cat)/Fehmut (Pharaoh), but it didn't really get that far.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 216 words
His body was burning.
The sand swirled, mixing with red-hot embers, into a deadly whirlwind of smoke and heat. Through the crackling of the flames and the howling of the wind, he could just barely hear Fehmut's voice crying out in pain. It was followed by a choking cough of a reassurance that could only belong to Tokiwa. The heat was unbearable, but still the glass did not break.
No, he thought desperately, that's not how it went. The hourglass had shattered. But not a single crack appeared in its smooth, crystal surface. The flames spired higher and higher to the sound of Fehmut and Tokiwa's dying screams. He was still trapped, and his curse would continue--
"Pharaoh." The soft voice interrupted his growing panic and despair. Soft hands reached past his shoulders and covered his eyes from behind. "My Pharaoh, it is only a dream."
His vision obscured, the unbearable heat of the fire slowly began to die away. When he was left with nothing but cool darkness, the hands withdrew. Turning slowly, he found himself staring into a pair of wide, golden eyes, set into a face identical to his own. "Fehmut...?" he asked slowly.
By way of answer, the other boy smiled softly and pressed himself to the Pharaoh's chest.
---Title: Growth Spurt
Fandom: Amatsuki
Pairing: Ginshu/Hiwa
Rating: PG
Word Count: 207 words
Notes: Heian AU.
Hiwa was going through a growth spurt, and he
hated it. Byakuroku kept having to let down the hems of his pants, but soon that wasn't going to be enough. Everything felt awkward. Especially his wings.
It seemed like he was constantly bumping into things with them-- rattling screens, knocking things from tables, smacking into people. A particularly bloody-minded servant had suggested just chopping them off, but quickly withdrawn the idea when Byakuroku pulled his lips back from his fangs and
hissed.
He hadn't told Ginshu about that incident, partially because he didn't want to upset her, and partially because Ginshu had been extremely patient with the problem of his wings. She
liked them.
"I wonder if you could fly, now?" Ginshu mused as he ran his hands over Hiwa's back, right where the skin turned to feathers.
Hiwa bit back a small moan of contentment. "I don't know," he muttered. "Even if I could, it's not like anyone would let me."
Sighing softly, Ginshu slid his arms around Hiwa's waist and rested her chin on his shoulder. "I'd like to see it," he said wistfully.
"Moron," was all Hiwa could say in response to that, leaning his head against Ginshu's.
