Luc's eyeliner was a mess. The dark outline around one brilliantly green eye was as delicate and well-applied as always, the other side anything but. He'd been interrupted halfway through, the brush falling from fingers that just couldn't seem to hold onto it anymore. It felt tight and uncomfortable where it had streaked on his cheek when he dropped it, the dark liquid drying too fast. But for once, he found it hard to care.

"Miss me?" Tir asked, his smile awkward but just as brilliant as ever. He looked incredibly out of place standing there in Luc's room, like he hadn't been there in so long that he didn't quite fit anymore. Like despite the tired grin and well-worn traveling clothes, he was just going to disappear.

Before Luc even realized what he was doing, he was reaching out to touch him to make sure it wasn't just an illusion or another dream. His hand hit solid flesh. He stood there dumbly for a moment, staring at his hand on Tir's chest, pale skin and green nails brilliant against the red fabric. Then Tir's own hand, skin rougher than his own, closed around it, the other sliding through his hair and Tir was kissing him. Luc hadn't even realized he'd forgotten that he could enjoy kissing until that moment. Because Tir's lips on his, warm and soft and possessive, made it so much better than with the rest of the customers, so much better than even the nights with Hugo. He kissed back, pressing closer, trying to fall deeper into the dizzying feeling that was beginning to overwhelm him--always overwhelmed him when Tir was here like this.

Tir broke the kiss, his lips brushing over Luc's jaw to his neck. "You didn't answer my question," he said lightly against the sensitive skin.

Luc shivered, bringing his hands up to Tir's shoulders and clutching at them. And he laughed.

"I think," Sugar said, frowning faintly, "that it means he's finally lost it."

Blaze, who was walking by, idly hit him over the head with the box of condoms he was carrying. "Don't be stupid."

Without opening his eyes, Caesar smirked. "Exactly. He lost it a long time ago-- ow!" He winced when the box was turned on him. His wounded look faded when Blaze found a seat on the couch, allowing himself to be used as a pillow.

"It's got something to do with his customer," Blaze said. He toyed with the filmy, nearly transparent material of his pants. "That's what it has to be."

"But he was laughing," Caesar muttered sleepily.

Sugar tried not to stare too openly at Blaze's hands. "So he was laughing at the customer? Okay. So maybe the guy has a really tiny--" he broke off, blushing.

Blaze sighed.
