Dammit, I hate introductions
Well, hello my little journaling friends. Do sit down. (Of course, you're probably already sitting down, but we'll ignore that for the moment.) Have a nice tall glass of virtual lemonade.

...God, I hate small talk.

What to say? Tonight I watched Batman: The Movie, and it was hilarious. No, not that Batman. The old version, the one that starred Adam West and Burt Ward in goofy outfits. You know... every time someone gets hit there's a goofy visual effect? "BAMPH!" "POW!" "kerSPLOOSH!" Yeah, that's the one. Funny stuff. The intentionally tongue-in-cheek parts are funny enough ("Gee, Batman! It sure is lucky that we just happened to crash-land the Bat-copter on top of a giant pile of foam rubber! What are the odds of that?") but the other, subtler things, such as the really... long... pauses... Adam... West... takes... every... other... sentence, elevate this film to comedic gold. Well, maybe comedic gold foil. But still. It's shiny.
