So, I'm going through Sports Illustrated online, and I read their Baseball Power Rankings.
At the very bottom is their weekly blurb about the hapless Tigers, something about a manager beating up umpires. To quote:
"Al Franken and Bill O'Reilly will have a love child before Higgy gets another close call from the boys in blue."
The first time I read this I laughed, but then my poor brain got thinking.

If you think about it, The whole Samus vs. Ridley thing is really just the Knight in Shining Armor vs. the Dragon, just in a badass galaxy sorta way.
New Icon. It's sad when you can see yourself interacting with your own fandom in 10-20 years.
Fandom will get better by then, right?
