The next morning, Misha gives Alyssa a choice--she can either sleep in and he can grab her at lunch time to come down to set, or she can come with him and watch him work all day. Either way he knows he wants her to meet both Jared and Jensen, wants them to get used to the idea of her being around, especially if he's going to have her stay with him permanently while he's in Vancouver filming. The bruises on her throat--both from his fingers while choking her and the bite marks--are pretty livid, but he has to confess to himself that he doesn't want her to cover them up with a scarf. Let them see the marks. At some point or another they're going to anyway. He's bought her a little silver chain necklace with a padlock charm which will act as her collar when they're out in the vanilla world--they're so popular these days, most people won't even blink. But he'll know what it means, and so will certain others.

But Misha has been wanting to make that happen for a while--he's tried to be open to both of them about his own activities and their importance to him--both of them, for different reasons. For years I've waited for a certain something to happen, a someone to come into my life that could give me what I've looked for. Recently, I believe I've actually stumbled upon that person - and the nervous excitement abounds.
Do I trust him? Oddly enough, yes I do. I'd never even remotely consider what I am if I didn't. It doesn't stop the nerves, however. It's not nerves over what I hope is to come - but yet it is. I'm not afraid, but change in itself is a scary thing. It's not something that either of us are entering into blindly and I believe that communication is the only way to make things work and so far, he's been completely honest with me and I with him. I've been ready for this for a long time, but there is a certain apprehensiveness when you suddenly realize that you have the possibility to gain exactly what you desire.
A sort of surreal happiness seems the closet I can describe it as.
I suppose my question is this: For those of you who have found it, how did you feel when you realized you had, or were getting, exactly what you'd always needed? |

Last night was the most intense and amazing time she can remember having and laying right next to her, with a soft and angelic look on his face, is the reason why.

I ran into two old friends today. We used to be so much alike that people teased that we were triplets separated at birth. There was just one problem - I was on my way to the club and dressed in a red leather corset and a thin little collar. Maybe it would have been different if I'd actually been able to give a reason for the outfit. There they stood in their bright Rodeo Drive clothes and there I stood looking like Pretty Woman before she became classy - high heels, short skirt and corset. Jess just stared, too damn shocked to speak and Julie kept asking how I was, like I've lost my mind. I couldn't figure out what to even say! I don't think "Hey, how are you? I'm on my way to find someone to torture me," would have worked very well. Come to think of it, I think it would have made Jess pass clean out.
Of course, once I got to the club I could have been in a damn parka for all that mattered. Was my second time there and people barely looked at me. It's enough to give a girl a complex. There are times it's like they look over the top of my head. I'm short! I'm not invisible. I miss talking to Duke. Hell, I miss sex. I miss my little bed at the end of his and the way he'd walk me around the grounds. I know I wasn't totally happy there, but it was comfortable and he tried. Maybe that would've been enough again. |
